When I start feeling overwhelmed by challenges in my life or what is going on in the world, do you know what picks me up? The EVENTS on the divine feminine app! I feel like I won the freaking LOTTO when I find one like this Candlelit Winter Solstice Gaelic Kirtan in Nashville, Tenn that is actually within a drivable distance for me.
But even if there is nothing close by just reading about the amazing events happening around the world gives me a warm fuzzy feeling that yes, there are lovely, amazing, warm people doing lovely, amazing, warm things everywhere!
And we need those feelings and inspiration even more than ever right now.
Local events are being emailed out tomorrow so be sure and enter them today (as well as listing virtual/online on the bottom of the email.)
And when you find an event that you want to go to, on the smartphone app, you can export to your calendar by hitting the + button.
We have had reports of issues downloading the smartphone apps to certain phone types. We apologize. We are in the midst of upgrading the smartphone apps and working on them as quickly as we can, but it is going to be a month or two.
Meanwhile, we encourage you to use the website theDivineFeminineApp.com – you can even open on your browser on your smartphone, click the top right 3 dots and add the shortcut to the website to your smartphone screen.
And if you agree with what you read, please support us financially. We could use a couple of big financial supporters (we have a lengthy list of technology updates and needed features) but every amount you donate is deeply appreciated. And/or your monthly membership ($5.99 to 6.99/month) is appreciated and gives you the ability to add unlimited events emailed out.
Wanting to add in a related somewhat fashion that I am off to a full time contract I just took that will last through January 13th helping people fill out applications for farmers and ranchers who were discriminated against by the USDA loaning practices and are eligible for a $2.2 billion financial assistance program that the Biden-Harris administration approved.
No surprise that the system was unfair to BIPOC farmers (as well as women, homosexual and religious) and after just one week, I have heard heart-breaking stories. But it feels great to be a part of righting some wrongs, and it’s also an amazing story of WomanFesting how the opportunity came along for me.
Plus did you know that the Biden administration has made local and equitable farming a priority? I did not. Wish the news would actually report news and not just divisive drama.
Keeping my eye on this New World coming.
Well wishes, Caryn
