We are a Circle
And there appeared
a great wonder in heaven:
a woman clothed
with the sun,
and a moon
under her feet,
and upon her head
a crown of twelve stars.
-Revelations 12:1
There are those who want to claim that the reemergence of the Goddess is a sign that the world is about to end.
It’s the end of the world,
And I feel fine.

It does not matter what is happening today as the tide is turning. You can try to walk up river but sooner or later the current will bring you downstream.
Yes, it is the end of the world.
And the beginning of a new one.
Want to know what is happening? Look to the younger generation. Through my daughters I learned of the Korean Netflix series Squid Game, Netflix’s most watched series. The second season broke several records, including the most-watched Netflix original in its debut week. It received critical acclaim and international attention and won six Primetime Emmy Awards and one Golden Globe.

As I finished season two of this very hard to watch, violent, gory and showing humans at their absolute worst, I thought to myself, ‘oh, this is about capitalism.’
Yes, it is about our Monopoly world where once you fall behind, it is so very difficult to get back to the starting line. Where some win and buy their Lululemon yoga pants, but others live in chronic pain without health insurance, without homes and struggling every single day to get by.
A world that then pins it as ‘their fault’, lazy and stupid, so that they can continue in their excess oblivious to the suffering of those around us.
A world where our children find socialization in chat rooms and video games while we isolate ourselves in our large homes.
A world where the rich have become ‘homeless’, endlessly flying around on lavish vacations and to scattered houses but without true community.
A world that has flipped Jesus Christ’s compassion, non-judgement and love to instead justification of their way of life and one-sided condemnation.
“You are going to hell.”
Unless you play by our rules and succeed at our game.
But we are products of our time.
You are the thoughts that make the pattern.
And you are the pattern that make the thoughts.
– Wheels of Life by Anodea Judith PhD
We are inevitably tied to each other and to the Earth, the moon, the stars and the sky.
She is here to show us another way.
