With deep sorrow and immense gratitude for her life, we announce the passing of our beloved friend, mentor, and soul-sister, Carol Hansen Grey. She transitioned peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of light, wisdom, and unconditional love that has touched thousands across the globe.
For more than 40 years, Carol was a powerful presence in the worldwide spiritual community. A radiant teacher, speaker, and visionary, she devoted her life to helping others awaken to their truth and live from the heart. She taught thousands how to transform fear-based thoughts into empowering beliefs through her groundbreaking work Free Yourself from Fear, and traveled the U.S. sharing her daily practice of self-love and healing called Lighten Up.
Carol created the worldwide movement rooted in the affirmation “Only Love Prevails”, a truth she lived by in every breath and moment. Through her work as a spiritual teacher, healer, and author of Simple Healing Tools and Know You Are Loved, she continually reminded us that peace and love are always within reach. She was a founder of WOVA (Women of Vision and Action), helped build Gather the Women, one of the earliest and on-going online international women’s circles, and created countless opportunities for women to connect, share, and grow together. She also directed a healing center, offered reiki healing, and poured her heart into every space she touched.
Carol was not only a beloved spiritual leader, but also an incredible graphic and web designer, a renowned editor, a gifted artist, and a master gardener. Her creative talents were just one more way she offered her love to the world.
She is lovingly remembered and held in the hearts of her three children and their families, her 11 grandchildren, and the countless souls whose lives she changed simply by being herself. Her beloved husband, has asked me to let her FB community know—and we hold Victor in love and light as we honor and remember Carol.
Though Carol has left the physical world, she will be with us always—sending her energy, light, and love into the world, and seeing Peace, always.
