As a small independent organization (and by that we mean dependent on the support of our friends and com’madres’ but not deep corporate pockets), we deeply appreciate your donations and support. Apps are expensive, and we have a long list of things we want to be doing that we are continually prioritizing not to mention the normal maintenance.

As the creator of the app (Caryn MacGrandle) I have worked with the same company out of India for the past dozen years (Mobile and Web Solutions). I am beyond grateful to them. If we had done this state side, it would have been millions. Seriously. As it is, I have personally spent well over $150,000 on the app (not including my time daily for the past dozen years) and have pretty much never made a profit.

Would I do it again? Yes. In a heartbeat. Her’s.
