What is Goddess Spirituality?

Goddess Spirituality is a way of looking at the world in a more matriarchal balanced way than the patriarchal lens of the past couple thousand years.  Although many great accomplishments have been made in our human story, most major religions are heavily swayed towards the male and masculine traits.  The Divine Feminine, the Sacred Feminine or the Feminine Face of God have been subjugated, diminished and otherwise subdued at the expense of balance and sustainability.  Goddess spirituality opens the door to learning about the 10,000 Faces of the Goddess and the many Goddesses who have been revered and honored throughout our human story.  Goddess Spirituality is also closely tied to Mother Earth and our honor and reverence for the natural.

What Goddess Am I?

You are many different Goddesses at the same time and throughout your life.  Goddess Spirituality takes into account the cyclical nature of life and humans.  Goddesses are often found in Maiden, Mother and Crone form.  Asherah, Inanna, Isis, Sophia, Mami Wata, Shakti, Danu, Brigid, Magdalena, Quan Yin, Green Tara.  Archetypes and similarities reverberate through the ‘faces of the Goddess’:  an oft repeated phrase for the many different names of the Goddess found throughout history.   You will find different Goddesses dancing or silently sitting on the periphery of your consciousness.  They are calling to be heard and recognized.  You are Divine.  And the Divine is found within you.
