I had the thought ‘They’re just WALKING. In the face of all this, what can that do?’
But I can’t get them out of my mind. The orange robed Buddhist monks. their kind, gentle words and Aloka the Peace Dog @alokathepeacedog have captured my heart. And I’m not the only one.
They’re gathering steam.
We have entered their stops to the divine feminine app so be sure to see if they are coming by you!
“After lunch, the monks sat with the community, sharing reflections on compassion, loving-kindness, and inner peace. In those moments, the true spirit of this walk revealed itself – not in miles covered, but in hearts connecting.”
The very first Sacred Buddhist Scripture STUPAS (DHAMMACETIYA) in the United States of America is in Fort Worth, Texas.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime project and a rare opportunity. Let’s join hands to support the construction of this Buddhist Wonder of the World – the Ancient Sacred Buddhist Scripture Stupas Dhammacetiya – right here in the United States of America, for the benefit of every sentient being.”

“Breathing” by Thich Nhat Hanh
Breathing in, I see myself as a flower.
I am the freshness
of a dewdrop.
Breathing out,
my eyes have become flowers.
Please look at me.
I am looking
with the eyes of love.
Breathing in, I am a mountain,
imperturbable,
still,
alive, vigorous.
Breathing out,
I feel solid.
The waves of emotion
can never carry me away.
Breathing in,
I am still water.
I reflect the sky
faithfully. Look, I have a full moon
within my heart,
the refreshing moon of the bodhisattva.
Breathing out, I offer the perfect reflection
of my mirror-mind.
Breathing in,
I have become space
without boundaries.
I have no plans left.
I have no luggage.
Breathing out, I am the moon
that is sailing through the sky of utmost emptiness.
I am freedom.
(from his collection of poetry “Call Me by my True Names”)
… and yes, we consider Buddhism to be divinely feminine friendly because Buddhism does not revolve around a father-god who creates, judges and rules. Ultimate reality is Dharma (truth, law, way) not a gendered being. Plus there is Prajñāpāramitā ‘The Mother of All Buddhas”, Tara, Kuan Yin. as feminine archetypes.
