| In the ten years that I have been doing this (the divine feminine app), hands down, the most Goddess events have been from the US coasts – Northeast and California. I’ve been to plenty of freaking amazing Goddess events in the Northeast (and the Midwest), but never been out to one on the West coast. Finally going next week to Goddess Festival International. Can’t wait! At a work meeting last week, I was gushing over going to the woods to hang out with my Goddess friends, one of my absolute favorite things to do. A co-worker gave me a blank stare and said, “Caryn, I can’t relate to you at all.” Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha – long Witch cackle in reply. Or at least in my head. Outwardly, I simply smiled like the Chesire cat. A second co-worker gave some inane mainstream movie reference (don’t even know what she was talking about), but I do know this: that if you have been to an event like this, not a festival where the main activities are drinking, smoking and buying shit, but a gathering in the woods, a container with an opening, ceremony, fires, singing, laughing, nature, traveling (and I’m not talking physically), then you just feel sorry for the people who cannot relate. |
