The spring equinox is the moment when there is equal light and dark, marking a time of balance. In the northern hemisphere, it is officially the start of spring, while in the southern hemisphere, it marks the beginning of autumn. The equinox highlights where we may be out of balance in our lives because it is a time of natural equilibrium between day and night. It is also described as a time of renewal, strength, and building, often associated with themes of hope, inspiration, and growth. The spring equinox is considered a marriage to self, a period to reflect on personal needs and to restore balance between feminine and masculine energies. It is seen as a portal or vortex for accelerating consciousness and transformation, lasting about three days around the exact equinox date. This period is also an opportunity to heal polar opposites within ourselves and in our relationships, holding a new vision for personal growth and acting accordingly.
