Endings and Beginnings

You cannot have one without the other.
Fittingly, this week’s new moon is in Pisces.
Pisces is the final sign of the zodiac wheel and is known for its deep sensitivity and mystical qualities. It is considered the most sensitive of all the water signs, representing the collective and the culmination of the soul’s journey through the astrological mandala. Pisces is often associated with mystics, spiritual or soul midwives, and those who honor the cycles of time as teachers.
Key themes and symbolism of Pisces include:
- Mysticism and Spirituality: Pisces is the sign of the mystic, helping people navigate times of change and crisis, which can bring both danger and opportunity depending on how they are approached.
- Endings and Completion: As the twelfth and final sign, Pisces represents endings, dissolution, and the completion of cycles. It is a time for letting go of burdens and embracing innocence, recognizing that every experience was chosen for soul growth.
- Duality and Polarization: The symbol of Pisces is two fishes swimming in opposite directions, reflecting themes of duality, polarization, and the need to reconcile opposites.
- Sensitivity and Depth: Pisces energy brings emotions to the surface from the absolute depths, often uncovering hidden or unresolved aspects of the psyche.
- Collective Experience: Pisces represents the collective consciousness, and during significant astrological periods involving Pisces, there can be a sense of dissolving old structures and heightened collective sensitivity.
- Miracles and Allowing: Rather than striving through effort alone, Pisces teaches about reading signs, setting intentions, and creating space for miracles and transformation to occur.
Pisces is a time of deep feeling, spiritual insight, and the opportunity to release what no longer serves, making way for new beginnings as the zodiac cycle renews.
The above is from Hinneh BEHOLD! the divine feminine library, more speicifcally Tanishka Moon Woman’s videos. She published this one in April of last year.
“So Pisces is the final sign in the zodiac wheel and the lunar node, the north node, so our, you know, where we’re headed on our collective compass point moved into Pisces on January 12, 2025 for 18 months. So it’s in this 18 month second period that we’re going to see the dissolution of life as we knew it.”
I would say Tanishka was pretty much right on point, as the Aussies would say, eh!
“… the unrest and destabilization that’s happening on the world stage. But like the two fishes swimming in opposite directions that make up the symbol of Pisces, we’re seeing a time of intensification, of duality, of polarization, which is causing conflict.”
Here is a New Moon circle for you on Thursday’s New Moon from MoonDays .. so important to pause and reflect especially with others.
