As I read over Caryn email to us, I’m remembering what it feels like to await launch time from shore! Especially amongst the current happenings upon our earth.
And…the Ninth Wave BEing a powerFULL symbol of both destruction and potential salvation. Representing the overwhelming power of nature, the potential for disaster and the struggle for survival.
Here in Hawaii we travel these waves in our wa’a (canoes) which we consider sacred vessels and a connection to both earth & water. These vessels that travel with large waves are often associated with gods & spirits. They are life entities, part of our spirit and body.
The wa’a was also utilized in warfare, fishing and royal competitions due to their sacredness.
I envision us sitting together and waiting to with permissions to enter the waters in honor of self and others…with our medicine of our vessels. Each row together for the highest good of all and our planet.
As I look at those here…I bow…in reverence for each of you, your Sacred vessels, your inner wisdom, your truth in this moment and also your holy yes to launch off together!
